John Chapter Three

Observations:

• 2 “we all know” who is the “we”?  Sanhedrin?

• 5 water and Spirit – odd, physical and spiritual

• 8 hear but can’t tell where

• 11 “you won’t believe” – Nic?

• 16 loved “so much”

• 19 “loved the darkness more than the light” = my sin

• 21 so others can see – doing what God wants

• 27 receive nothing unless God gives it from heaven

• 34 God gives him the Spirit w/o limits

Application:

• 8 hear but can’t tell where - follow and trust

• 19 “loved the darkness more than the light” = my sin
