John Chapter 16

Observations:

·         2-3 think serving God but they are not b/c they don’t know the Father (but they thought they did) Is that possible for me???

·         8-9 convict of sin = those who refuse to believe in Jesus

·         18 “We don’t understand” - true many times, but he wants our faith

·         20 grief into joy (21-22 = joy, rejoice, joy)

·         24 ask in His name and receive it and abundant joy

·         32 all leave but not alone because the Father with him

APPLICATION:

  Ask for my grief to be turned into joy

PRAYER:

Father, I want to experience your joy - not only for my blessing but for your glory.
