John Chapter Five

Observations:

•  5 for 38 yrs – I’ve been ‘paralyzed’ for how long?

• 6 Do I want to get well?  Change?

• 8 stand up – egeiro = usually lying down, some sitting

  • Pick up - why significant?

  • Walk

• 9 Instant healing – when wanted to and obeyed

APPLICATION:

• What has 'paralyzed' me from all that God has to offer me (love, joy, peace...)?

  • Is it a reluctance to change? That can change instantly if I'm willing and if I obey Him.

  • So, get up Tim, pick up your junk, and follow Jesus.

PRAYER:

God, give me your strength and courage to change ________________ today.
