John Chapter One

Tim’s Thoughts

Observations:

1. vs10 How do you not notice the light when you’re in darkness?  Seems more likely to be seen

2. Word became flesh – why did Jesus become a man?  So we could see

3. He’s right here in the crowd – God

Application:

vs10 Am I seeing God?

• vs14 I’ve seen… his glory, honor, radiance, splendor

• vs26 He’s right here

• vs31 Am I recognizing him for who he really is? 

PRAYER:

Help me Lord, to get back to you so I can see you.  Give me the strength and persistence to seek you through all 21 chapters of John. 

I want to see and know you.
